In his initial career he shouldered the responsibility as tax manager with A F Ferguson & Co., Chartered Accountants, Mumbai.

Companies from diverse industries including pharmaceuticals, auto parts, electrolytic capacitors and across different geographies have benefited from consultations with him in matters involving direct taxes.

He has been instrumental in putting together and nurturing a young talented team with diverse skill sets and a common goal of offering holistic solutions to clients. He actively participates in the in house study meets and has personally championed the re-orientation of operations into a relationship driven model. He has been actively involved in the KVMDS management.

His career spans more than three decades in direct and indirect taxes and carries an excellent repo with the authorities. Over the last five years, he has helped complete four mergers.

He was the leading partner of the firm till his sad demise on 16/12/2018.
